Stoning 2

BY: Dan Helmintoller

Whenever our hearts in [tormenting] self-accusation make us feel guilty & condemn us. [FOR WE ARE IN GOD'S HANDS.] For He is above & GREATER than our consciences (our hearts), & He knows (perceives & understands) everything [nothing is hidden from Him]. And, beloved, if our consciences (our hearts) do not accuse us [if they do not make us feel guilty & condemn us], we have confidence (complete assurance and boldness) before God  (1 John 3:20-21 AMP)

So, if our hearts condemn us, we may need to be reminded of the Father's heart toward all of humanity! When Jesus was confronted with the woman caught in adultery, He charged "...let him who is without sin cast the first stone." He alone stood before her that day as the Son of the Living God (God come in the flesh). He could have thrown a stone (as He was without sin), but HE DID NOT, however simply said, "...WOMAN WHERE ARE YOUR ACCUSERS ..."
She replied, "There are none Lord."
He then replied, "Neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more."

This is one of the reasons Jesus gave His life for us, THAT WE WOULD NO LONGER BE CONDEMNED IN OUR HEARTS! Glory!
I believe there was SOMETHING ABOUT THE MASTER that has been lost in our perception of Jesus. I am mystified that a prostitute would have the confidence to come wash His feet & worship Him. Think about it. Here we see manifest the TRUE HEART OF OUR SAVIOR!
He is absolutely passionate about restoring your life. If you cry out to Him, seek Him in prayer & meditation in His word, the precious Holy Spirit will bring you into the Truth of His heart toward you, but we must see Him as He is, not necessarily as we think He is. I am so grateful, there really is nothing like having the assurance that you are a child of the Living God! In Him we truly do have a future & a hope! .HIS MERCY IS FOREVER!
